I once gave my gf and her friend a ride down the street to a bar they wanted to go to… can definitely fit a corpse back there (as long as they’re under 5’6”) ?
I get that, still confused me. That’s why I added the blurb. Sorry if it came across too mean, that was just the physical response I had to it. We need a note added to question threads that says to be descriptive of the issues people are experiencing before they post. Might help a bit
Only happens online. In person the “BMW” thing is brought up a bit but for the most part people kiss up when they see it. A lot of “Can I get a ride?” and “I’m waiting for them to be cheaper than 30k” responses ?
These are all gross vehicle weights, which are estimations of the car to include passengers and cargo. Whereas curb weights will be indicative of the car itself without the aforementioned.
I do find it interesting though that the Nismo version weighs over 100lbs more than the standard MT 370z
Guy wants people to think he knows what he is talking about and says the Supra is Twin Turbo. Also, the weights are off a bit;
Per google;
21' Supra Curb Weight = 3,304 lb (53/47%)
20' Nissan 370z Curb Weight = 3486 lbs
Really wish these reviewers researched just a little before making...
It will be, it just won’t sell as much as the automatics will. Most of the people who complained about the Supra being auto only weren’t in the market of being able to own one… same thing will happen with the Z if it’s starting at 40K.
After researching it a bit more myself, you are correct. It does appear to be for security reasons and future self driving capabilities, at least in the case of BMW, Mini, and Chevrolet. I still foresee this being an issue on all cars since the future is pointing towards self-driving cars.
The first part is fully right, the ECM is made by Bosche and it’s affecting cars MY21 and newer. A simple google search into this will turn up results showing it’s not just Toyota suffering from being locked out.
I hate to break it to you but sadly tuneability is being phased out thanks to the...
Exactly… I like how people are tempted to do this on a car that isn’t out yet after buying a car that wasn’t out yet and then finding out it has some quirks that will take time to work out. That’s the definition of insanity right there. ?
other than it’s not Toyotas call… it’s ECM manufacturers being pushed to lock by the EPA. This will be an issue across all cars, not some.
If the only enjoyment you are getting out a car is based on whether it’s a manual car, are you really a car enthusiast? Or a manual enthusiast?

Yes, please… I want to see all the people who are willing to commit to another car before it’s even released. I’m gonna pass on it, there’s nothing really earth shattering for me when it comes to this car. It just feels rehashed and uses way too much from the previous Z cars/Infinitis.
I...
