My thoughts on buying shit from Poland on eBay:

This is exactly what one of the guys at the shop I use told me. He said he couldn't believe how capable a car it was with just a little work. More than anything, I think the weak link on this car is the tires, but that's the case with most cars in this price range.
I hem and haw about shit all the time. The wife has to remind me of this. My folks reminded me about this when it came to kids. If you wait for the perfect time, it's never going to happen.
I feel ya on that. I used to quickly move onto other cars when I was done with a build. It would be tough for me to daily a Supra, but I'm not in sunny San Diego. ? I say go for it! They're great cars. Trying to time the market and putting it off is how you don't end up with a Supra.
I like this take - totally reasonable. For HPDE the car is completely fine from the factory, honestly, but if you're tracking the car in a race series, having a tune readily and cheaply available may be something you need to be competitive in your class. It's hard to say it's no big deal for...
So in CA and NY it's really zero tolerance? I understand getting pulled over at 7:30am in nice clothes on your way to the office the excuse may not work, but if it's a Friday night and you're near a track and get pulled over there's really no way of talking your way out of it? I've never lived...
Received the downpipe a day early. @Extreme Power House, you weren't kidding - this thing is a quality piece of kit. It was expensive for a ceramic coated steel pipe, but hot damn. I don't know much about metalworking, but I've seen hundreds of different exhaust components over time, and this is...
Would you believe them if xHP posted numbers? Do I believe I'm going to get 12-14hp from the MSTv2 intake I bought? I'm not trying to convince you, but you have a post full of people reporting quicker, smoother, and more responsive shifting and we're not trying to sell you on it. Take a look at...
How would one prove this? I'm not being obtuse, I really don't know. Subjectively, it's faster and smoother using the paddles, but has other configuration options that are of benefit during certain situations. Now I am being obtuse: Why only 40-140 rolls? Street racing? (I'm not the police)
I ran v1.0 with the same results. Very rough shifting. The two obviously weren't made to work together. Running v1.1 in Sport is significantly improved over running Sport Plus without xHP or with v1.0.
