Exactly! Lol! My question is, how will anyone know you’ve “modified” your car? I mean, take the MKV Supra for example....the Pure 800 turbo is a factory housing modified turbo. You look at it in the engine bay, and it’s completely factory looking. The tune doesn’t trigger any CEL’s, so...

@Guff I just watched your latest video on MKIV prices on YouTube. Great video....I too agree, I would never pay the outrageous prices some sellers are labeling on the MKIV. As I said before, had it not been for the ridiculously low price I paid for mine, I would have never looked in the MKIV’s...

Unless you go with a pair of GT28’s on a stock setup....600hp with a stock look. One of the things I really like about the stock 2JZGTE in stock form is the piping layout. So pretty.

I agree. The B58 is a beast of a motor, and not worth the hassle of a 2JZ swap considering the power potential the B58 has with minimal work. The 2.0 on the other hand...a “better” donor for the operation.

Nice!!! MKV Supra has been out for less than 2yrs, and already running 8’s. Imagine how much more the platform will mature in terms of tuning in another 2yrs. We just need a solution to the slipping trans at 750whp+.

I Agree. When going after huge power, bang for buck the 2JZ is proven. My brother is shooting for 600whp, and I will start on my MKIV TT soon as well. Hopefully can get a video up in the future to show comparison of equally powered MKIV vs MKV. That will be fun.

If you have an A90 (or A91 with a pre-lock firmware date), stay away from the dealers until an unlock is available. Even bringing in your car for oil changes can get a “recommended” reflash during the visit.
