Two thoughts... 1. The fact you guys are having to buy the product, then buy additional hardware is ridiculous... 2. For those who already installed, just spray paint the screw heads black after scuffing them with a 3M pad. That's what I used to do with STI mud flaps.

Mishimoto is CCV side, Verus AOS is PCV side. No idea if either will solve the issue as they certainly don't seem to do much on stock cars, but may be the key for your set up.
