All, what is the consensus on the Verus AOS? Does it actually prevent the reported build up of oil from the Intake? I’ve been searching and have not seen where anyone was able to confirm the Verus AOS functions as intended. I did see that Catch Cans seemed to provide no benefit so I’m avoiding...
That's certainly a fair point, though I'd say just as many people are interested in the tunability as their are actually willing to go do a proper track day at something that isn't a 1/4 mile straight line....so maybe not as many as I thought LOL.
Wow what a freaking steal. Wish my local dealers were even close to that. Everyone was charging over MSRP or wouldn't budge from MSRP. One dealer flat out said "we haven't sold a single vehicle under MSRP or asking price all month long and we aren't going to start with a Supra." (This was in May)
Yea I'd say if this deal is legit then you found the one dealer in the US right now that can't seem to move new inventory or you are that one guy at the end of the bell curve who stole the car in which case...I hate you as that's always my goal when buying cars and you've obviously stolen my...
Generally with other platforms I would agree, but this is a Supra we're talking about. How many stock MKIVs exist? My spit ball guess is 50% care. I cared and mine is bone stock and will stay that way until I get bored with the Power or have a week where can I wrench on car without wife seeing...
Yea I think the used market on these cars inflated due to demand for tunes. I'm seeing a lot of people hunting tunable 2021s with the goal of immediately adding all parts to cart and going for 600hp. I think the words gotten out these are big power cars.
I remember driving around my STI and...
Well the 2021 makes quite a bit of power stock. See stock dyno numbers on a 2021 in this video.
You can find a couple grand off a 2021. Just have to find the right dealer. I have a friend in the used car business and was showing me what they're selling for at auction used and it's quite...
Yea I agree with others. Pass...especially if you aren't looking for that color. Spend a couple grand more and get a new one especially if all you are trying to do is bridge the HP gap.
I really like these, but $150 for badges is quite a pretty penny. They should offer a cheaper, none color matched version with a plain black backing or something.
I'm sure those that order will have no regrets though, they look beautiful.
Does anyone have a Heritage or Seibon Carbon wing on their car that can give me some insight into rear window obstruction? Looking to buy one, but have some concerns as to how small the rear window already is and how visibility gets taken up by one.
Thanks in advance!
Example wing link here.
Seems reasonable, you're paying about 2k more than I did and mine was a GM demo with 3,700 miles on it already....but it was technically a "new" 2021...and it's got a tunable 3/20 DME. :headbang:
I say go for it, or if it seems shady, find another dealer to match it. You'll love the car.
If it makes you feel better...I've got one in my headlight also....its a car, it's gonna happen. Don't sweat it, go drive it, you'll get a couple more and can eventually just replace the headlights if you keep it that long.
