I'd imagine Visconti is probably pretty busy and only gets on forums every once in a while. I'd email him directly, but I don't want it to come of as an attack on his product, as I'm definitely a buyer and want it to be fixed so it can succeed in the market.
This is total bullshit. They do loaners because when inventory was in surplus they (all toyota dealers) would "sell" themselves fleets of loaner cars like Corolla, prius, rav4, etc... to help hit sales numbers. They are likely low on loaner cars because of the inventory shortage, but to say they...
I bet it's due to the materials the O-ring is made from.
Below are two references charts for O-ring material types and their ranked usage for Ethenol and Gasoline respectively. Essentially what you should look to these charts for is a material that is green on both. That means it's a material...
I'm curious to know what O-rings are being used in the kit because several common O-ring selections are good for either gasoline or Ethenol but not both. Fluorocarbon for example is a premium O-ring material that would work well for both but is considerably more expensive than natural rubber.
Yea it's a little insulting that for less money you can get an STI with AWD and 6 pot brembos up front and 2 pots in the rear. I'm actually disappointed my 3.0 didn't come with rear brembos.
If you look on Cars.com you can see some dealers advertising them for around 3-4k off, but call and make sure that's the actual price. Get the OTD number also as some of these dealers have automated pricing or have heavily inflated fees, added service packages, charge for stupid shit like...
I've self installed several of these pre-cut type kits on the various cars and motorcycles I've owned, and as long as the lines are clean cut and you install wet they're pretty easy. Going to order one this week, and will post pictures afterwards.

Mine read the same at 3700 miles then I changed it. Sticking with the factory recommend oil. I don't disagree with everyone saying 5w30 is a good weight, but 0w20 is likely a better winter choice if you live in a cold climate.
Yea I was pretty certain I was going with Visconti. Surprised to here people recommending Botti. I knew about him from the STI/WRX community didn't even know Supra was in his wheel house.
Anyone care to share why they choose Botti over Visonti?
I got to see the new Z in person when they brought it to our local cars and coffee right down the street from the Nissan Corporate building. Definitely a very cool car, and obviously the manual trans is a big selling point...plus the fact that it doesn't have the stupid iDrive system. For me, I...
This is always my approach as well. Respectful, well informed, but firm. I'd say I missed the December market, but the inflated trade values certainly worked in my favor. I remember getting quotes from dealers for my trade value being 33-34k around December-jan, and I just traded that same...
