Got calls from the lawyer and from Toyota today.
Lawyer said definitely have a case and theyāre happy to represent me. Could take up to 90 days and he indicated that Toyota is very hard to work with. Regardless, he thinks I have a good case. Going to review paperwork.
My Toyota CEC was nice...
Not clear that thereās any difference between sending a letter and what weāve done.
I agree that it may be time to push hard. I called yesterday and was promised a call back yet it didnāt happen.
EDIT - thanks for the nudge. I just reached out to a lemon lawyer.
I canāt say how it compares to the 86, but I thought it is way more fun than my old S4 and that car was $65K. My loaded Supra was $57K and I think itās one of the best cars for the money.
When the dealer service manager called me to say my car was in the same state, he said it would be better if I didnāt pick it up if I was pursuing replacement. Who knows...
I just know that the idea of driving a broken car with 355 miles on it doesnāt sit right with me.
Well... Iāve used this generation of BMW nav and it drove me crazy. Itās not the worst but I had serious issues with it that I donāt have with Google maps or Waze.
I think the cost is 70-80 a year (ballpark)
Same thing they told me on day 30. Apparently the workaround that didnāt work entailed using the old body ECU because they canāt get code onto the new one, hence the code/error is still there.
I was told no ETA and could take months. I told them I have no faith in the vehicle and want it...
