It’s about the car not the control set.
A good car is a good car - too often a manual transmission is a consolation prize for the sporting driver when the rest of the machine falls woefully short.
I drove manuals for 20+ years straight. My current car of 3.5 years is a dual clutch, and honestly I don’t miss the manual. When I feel like making gear changes myself I can, and when I don’t (the majority of the time) I’m more than happy. I drive a 2016 S4 and honestly the newer S4 with a ZF...
I found a Turbulence Grey at Springfield Toyota in Springfield, VA. Also wanted $10K over MSRP. He was supposed to check to see if they’d waive it since I had a deal for MSRP elsewhere and the sales guy ghosted me. Said he’d call back in 15 minutes. That was last Thursday evening... LOL
Where in Pittsburgh? I called Rohrich and they informed me they “sold the only one they were getting”, citing the odd and ridiculous “every dealer only gets one” story. I stopped calling after hearing that - figured the Pittsburgh market wasn’t going to receive many.
Correct. $495 for the front bumper which honestly seems like it would be a nightmare to apply. Odd that in the cash grab options dogpile, they left this off...
Two things:
Magna Steyr probably can’t build as fast as Toyota, hence not having tons of cars for launch (plus they have to build some Z4s). I’ve seen plenty of new Z4s and aside from YouTube and some dealer visits, no Supras.
My dealer told me that cars are intentionally held and shipped in...
My Premium has this listed on the sheet also, thanks for the heads up - will have to double check when I take delivery.
BTW, I’m really puzzled that neither mine nor the OP’s includes the front bumper ppf. My car -literally- has every other option, why not the complete ppf?
I also inquired...
I remember about 10 years ago, a vessel got tossed around in some really bad seas and someone posted pics of the destroyed cars. Was really painful seeing all the shiny new M cars bashed in.
If it’s only $1800, the actuarial tables are providing pretty good confidence that nothing is going to happen. You can’t fix much on a BMW for $1800...
I kept my E60 BMW for 11 years and it was very reliable. With that said, my buddy had an M4 that was officially a lemon. The engine in the...
The Koons Auto Group in VA (near DC) is willing to go MSRP. Arlington and Tyson’s Corner. I put a deposit on a Premium today for an allocation at the Tyson’s Toyota. My paperwork outlines the price and it matches the Toyota online listing for the specific car/VIN.
I just put a deposit on a dealer allocation in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia. MSRP, probably due to end of month pressure.
White Premium. Eagerly awaiting delivery so I can post something interesting...
