When you find out the cost you'll probably find it less attractive. I seem to recall over 1800USD and that ones got custom paddles so even more but I may be wrong.

I agree with all of this. The running in process is for the driver/rider and brakes not the engine. With modern plateaux honing of cylinders the rings are the only things that need to be "broken in" and that's 90% done by the time you get the car/bike. Every other component in the engine is...
Ha 10 deg C is cold? Where are you living Brisvegas? Hell here in Sunny Melbourne we get 0C regularly overnight in winter. In the automotive world 10C is nothing. My friend that spent his working hours testing and calibrating engines in GM's test cell had a test where they cooled the dyno to...
Didn't I read that during the oil level test when the ecu elevates the engine rpm for a period of time it establishes that the oil pressure is within certain parameters and then measures the oil Qty? If this is the case then when the oil pump adjuster ring breaks/fails the oil pressure defaults...
Just take the armrest to any decent automotive upholsterer and get it filled and covered. Pretty easy if you hate the holders and the available alternatives that much. You could even buy a new or second hand armrest for when the time comes to sell the car if the next owner wants the holders or...
GRP has been used as a term for glass reinforced plastic for so long and I think was originally abbreviated that way to separate it from a moulded plastic component back in the day. Now it's a term to also distinguish it from a "Carbon fibre" or Kevlar or Kevlar/Carbon or any other reinforcement...
CF interior pieces are purely a cosmetic thing and offer zero practical benefit so having established that why not just get the std pieces hydrodipped in CF pattern. It will fit perfectly and you can at least get the weave aligned to the the original CF interior pieces. I mean CF is really just...
That cars long gone. I was just interested in how it's all going with the transmission rebuild. You seem to think there's some ulterior motive in the question.

Buy the latest model you can and forget the tuning. I mean seriously, the things are approaching 380 hp stock at the wheels, how much power can you realistically use on the road without ending up in a ditch or in jail these days? This forum is full of people with "tunes" that then spend their...
That console piece looks totally wrong with the weave of the CF cloth going in a completely different direction to the OEM piece. Details sometimes matter.
Phil
You know if you're going to "shit yourself" when something like this occurs then you probably shouldn't be playing with "tunes" at all. A mans got to know his limitations.
Strange instruction to re torque after 20-50 miles when you've used blue loctite on the bolts. A totally pointless exercise after the Loctite has cured which takes about 10min for functional cure.
