I bought the Suvneer wing and I DON’T recommend it to anyone. I know it’s cheaper than the original but if you’re picky like I am, you’ll end up paying more at the body shop to fix all the issues with this wing. I am having the shop do a lot of work to make this look as perfect as possible. I...
How much ground clearance do you have now for the front lip and side skirts? It looks like I’m lowered about the same amount as you and when I leave my house the only thing that scrapes the driveway are the two plastic “diffusers” or whatever they are under the front part of the car. The stock...
For sale is my Valentine One Gen 2 radar detector. It’s in perfect condition and works as it should. It includes all the accessories it originally shipped with and I’m including a rear view mirror mount for it that I used in the Supra. The mirror wire tap seen in these pictures is NOT included...
Yeah I’m in no rush. My tires still only have about 3500 miles on them after a year and a half of owning the car. Plus I’m sure the pandemic still has prices inflated so I can wait a little while longer.
I’m also looking to get some BC FORGED wheels and after watching videos and looking through Instagram these two seem to be the best fitment and specs I’ve seen.
Sounds like I did something different from Andrews……I trimmed mine from the top on these rear bump stops because I didn’t want an issue with what’s going to hold the boot in place. If you pull the bump stop out of that metal piece it sits in, you’ll see the section I trimmed off. It worked...
You cannot because the plastic boot hides the bump stops inside it. It’s easy enough to do. You need to remove the shock though, but the spring can stay in place. Once you remove the shock then you remove the top plate and that will give you access to the boot and the bump stop.
I can’t exactly remember. Post a pic here to refresh my memory. But I seem to remember there was only one obvious place to cut it if you separate the bump stop from the boot. The boot will then just slip over the remaining bump stop and will center itself because of the shock shaft.
Alright so I did some testing yesterday and it’s actually very quiet when you’re driving around 68mph in either 7th or 8th gear. I will tell you though that you will probably hate the sound of the exhaust at certain rpms, especially while accelerating in AUTOMATIC mode, mainly for the reason I...
That makes sense. I get that.
Maybe you can answer a question for me since you drive in normal mode a lot. Is your car stock? When you are in normal mode does your acceleration feel sluggish until the rpms are above 3000? When I’m in normal mode and I leave my house, I haven’t even driven 300...
