I actually like this exhaust a lot. It has a very loud cold start but when it warms up it gets very quiet in normal mode, barely louder than stock really. I do run both mufflers at the moment, I haven’t tried it yet with the straight pipes. In Sport mode it sounds amazing. It has a very deep...
You could try to do what I’m going to do and wait until you need new tires. That will at least “justify” part of the price for getting a new set of wheels and tires.
Hello. I am selling my Rexpeed V1 carbon fiber spoiler. It’s used but in great condition and was UV protected with Chemical Guys Jet Seal since day one. I’m asking $300 firm plus shipping to wherever you are. Obviously you will need to get 3M tape to reapply it.
Thanks.
Another part of my initial question was the reliability of the car after going ethanol. I’ve read that all cars after a certain year are now required to be able to handle some ethanol in the fuel, but then I’ve also read that ethanol can mess up your fuel system. What have you guys encountered...
With this setup, do you know how much power are you getting and do you think that once your ECU is unlockable then you’ll still go for one of the other tunes? It sounds to me like there’s definitely an advantage to going Ecutek and having it adjust your E content but it’s not like it’s difficult...
I like that the Fuel it ties directly to the JB4 so I don’t need to run a separate gauge somewhere. Running e40-e45 with @DaBears tune how does the car drive? Does it drive like stock just with a lot more power on tap?
Actually I have a tunable 2020 model but was hoping to be able to switch back to stock if needed and not flash the ECU. The warranty is another reason as well as reliability and longevity and wanting a car that is daily drivable. I’m not looking for a full blown race car, it would just be nice...
Hi guys. So recently a shop near me started selling Ignite E85 and E90 in the 5 gallon cans. I’ve been wanting to start running flex fuel so I was wondering what’s the difference between these two flex fuel reader kits? Also, how safe is E85 to use in our cars? I’ve been seeing that a lot of you...
I initially installed these Eibach Z4 springs without cutting the bump stops in the back and the ride sucked also. Definitely cut them. It makes a huge difference. You don’t have to remove the springs anymore, just the shock.
Yeah I went from the Rexpeed lip spoiler to this. I’ve always loved these wings ever since the Mark IV, the 3000GT, the Evo, the STI…….you name it…….but I wasn’t gonna pay the price they were asking for the Streethunter official version especially since it wasn’t PERFECT QUALITY. For the price...
The overall figment was good. I used the included foam strips on the ends of the carbon piece to hide any gaps and that worked perfectly. I’d say the overall QUALITY of this is not very good though and for a $900 piece I definitely expected better. That being said it’s half the price of the...
Okay well that’s good to know that it’s the same for you too. I was beginning to think that I screwed up something when I did some Bimmercoding. I knew it wasn’t the JB4 either because I completely removed it to test if it was causing any issues.
I get what you’re saying. I do drive in Sport mode 90% of the time but there are times where I’d like to be in normal mode so the car is quieter, like driving through my neighborhood. It feels like the throttle on my 7 year old Hyundai or 17 year old Highlander has better throttle response than...
So I gave the pedal commander a chance and I’m returning it. It does help the throttle response like it advertises but it doesn’t really fix the issue I hate about Comfort Mode which is that it seems to shift way too early so the rpms are always really low, making the car feel laggy. When I...
