Of course not....more realistically, 930whp :D.
Those who make 1000hp+ use 1000hp+ and don’t necessarily have traction issues...you assume too much, and give folks little credit nowadays. Those who don't make 1000hp+, would like to....and a new Supra with capabilities like the previous gen...
I agree, I don't think swaps will be the "thing" with this car. I truly believe the aftermarket will be a combination of mods (turbo's, intakes, etc...) and reliability enhancers (plastic to billet pieces, bearings, etc...). The swaps will eventually catch on decades later, but initially...the...
What pisses me off, is that the auto industry actually has both options of water pumps. I cannot tell you the amount of failures that happen all because of the plastic impellers stripping and or broken blades. All too common im afraid....I sometimes feel like they do this to have the cars come...
But that would defeat the whole purpose of pushing, "the one thing everyone wanted....was an inline six." If that does in fact end up being true, that the 4cyl gets more attention than the 6cyl, then shame on Toyota and their marketing teams for poor research....because at that point, a...
Right, just like the rest of us mortals. No one buys a new-er car to swap in a 2JZ into. 99% of the 2JZ swapped cars are pre-OBDII chassis’s. I think people throw “2JZ swaps” out there too loosely. It’s not an easy task, and even harder when emissions is thrown into the mix.
Well, you said Tada BELIEVES in the BMW motor. Then you say, “nothing special.” So, my question is....why would Tada BELIEVE in something not special?
Exactly! Not to mention that most cars after 1996 require OBD-II systems to be operating at least at 90%. An everyday Joe Shmoe won’t have the money or the technical skillset to swap in a JZ and still be emissions compliant on a brand new car. This is why the big name tuners will do it for...
I mean in all honesty, it kind of is forgettable if you think about it. Sure, it's an engineering marvel for the Toyota company....but, what does the LFA do that other super cars of it's era or years don't?? Toyota built the LFA as an engineering exercise for future Lexus cars. How to use...
A70TTR, what is the mood like at Toyota, if you don’t mind me asking?
I mean, are people pretty disappointed in the car overall or are they excited? Like, I remember when the Viper team found out that a 5th gen Viper was going to be developed and how much better it was going to be than the 4th...
The GTR had to stay away from this (R35 at least)....that is why the exhaust manifold has the turbo integrated into it. It gives the tuner alot more flexibility if they are going for big power later on. Simply take the turbo off, and bolt on new manifold and your choice of turbo.
Honestly, I...
