The F150 is the same way. I have driven both. It cancels by pushing the same direction, by pushing back towards the center, it will cancel as well but only if you do it lightly, usually it turns the other indicator on.

Its the same deal in my f150. Stalk is always in the center position. Its not as intuitive as what we are used to but it does not take long before its not even a thought
