    The reason the wind buffering is a feature will be emissions and aerodynamics. The car, with windows up, will be slippery enough to meet a certain emissions specification, and as such, fixing the buffeting would likely compromise that. Hence why it's prevalent on so many sports cars these days...

    Tremec T56/TR6060 4th is 1:1, most other 6 speeds, it's 5th. It is because that the T56 was an evolution of the T5, with a 6th gear added (in early days) but the customer pool liked it, so it was retained.

  20. How many of you have front license plate screw holes and how do we stop them from doing this?

    In Au, the cars are ordered to you, not chosen from allocation. So I told the dealer to not affix the plate (or even remove the protective coverings, let alone wash it) and they complied, which was great.
