  1. THIS Is the Manual Toyota Supra [Official Release]

Yeah, confirmed for Australia too. I'm getting one.
  2. Sold: Selling A90 - GT White - VIC

Hi guys Moving the Supra on to get a 6MT. The Auto is fantastic, I'd probably keep it, if all my other Supras weren't manual. 13,000km Only mods - yellow painted calipers In fantastic condition - never washed by the dealer, ceramic coated at 14km, no marks at all on the interior or exterior...
  3. First Supra vs Nissan Z side by side direct comparison look

The fact that the Z is based on the Z34 platform, that was based on the Z33 platform, really ruins it for me. I didn't enjoy the driving experience of those Zeds at all. Plus retro styling never dates well. You're always better off with something evolutionary.
  4. Tomei Type D owners

The stock cat will quieten it down a lot. I ordered mine in Janurary, still waiting for it. Will be going on a stock DP car, no tune
  5. THIS Is the Manual Toyota Supra [Official Release]

Lack of stereo is a slight problem, I'd want more kg lost for lack of sound haha Regardless, us Aussies won't be getting that option. Speaking to the dealer today, it looks like the 6MT will be offered on our GT and GTS grades.
  6. THIS Is the Manual Toyota Supra [Official Release]

The wheels are very similar to all the other GR products - Yaris, Corolla, new GR86
  7. What is the difference?

    Very close! There actually was no A70 = NA, A71 = turbo, but it was a confusion at the time. A45, A46, A47, A55 = 1st Gen Supra A60, A61, A63 = 2nd Gen (There was a turbo model in Japan, MA63 with MTEU engine) A70, A71 =3rd A80 = 4th A90 = J29= 5th Gen But generally, you just say A40, A60...
  8. How much power before invasive TC?

I found even with stock power, the car is a completely different animal (in a good way) with all the VSC and TCS off completely. I am experienced with high power RWD cars though, not that a stock A90 is high powered.
  9. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

I still love the ZF8, it's fantastically good, even with 3x other supras with MT. I will drive a 6MT A90 before making my decision. The ZF8 is that good.
  10. Do you have an Insta for your Supra?

    https://www.instagram.com/ryleyma61/
  11. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

In Germany/Europe, it is mandated that the rated power output (at the crank) is a minimum. Hence why so many GER/EU cars make more than advertised (BMW and Porsche are notorious)
  12. What did you do to your Supra today?

Ordered the Tomei Type D. Hopefully still sounds nice and raspy, even with the OEM DP.
  13. Exhaust flap never closes on EU and AU models?

I think it's a lot more clever than initially thought. I believe it closes while driving in certain gears, in normal mode. It also doesn't help that the muffler on the Eu and Au models is massive, so the open valve doesn't sound much different to closed - its is very quiet.
  14. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

useable backseat in the A80 if you have no legs - i'm not tall (6'0") and there is 0,5" of room between the back of my recaro SR2 and the front of the rear seat
  15. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Correct. I believe Guff mentioned a while a go you could even purchase the bigger rotors, bolt them on, and done. I'd have to confirm that however.
  16. 3 Brand New Active Autowerke Catted downpipe

Hi mate, would you ship to Australia? How much to Ballarat, Vic, 3350? I love the raspy sound of the decats, however, I want to remain catted for warranty issues (any mods can void it in Au). How do these sound compared to OEM? Thank you
  17. Who are the Regulars on this forum!

I float around looking for news and rumours, that's about it these days. For me it's about deciding whether to swap the ZF6 for the 6MT version if it arrives.
  18. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

The rear rotors are around 10-15mm smaller in diameter. That's it. Not enough to warrant caring, given the fronts are the same and do the majority of the work.
