A proper bumper repair will only add fresh colour on the repaired sections (so for these holes, I'd say maybe 2x 50mm holes) and then clear the whole bumper
That said, I am the same and would prefer it with the OE paint.
A lot of manufacturer quoted times are on private days, and also stitched together "best sectors"
Reading more and more into it, it really has quite the number of variables sadly!
There's some old posts about this somwhere here.... but from memory the Supra time was a SportAuto or magazine time, not a manufacturer lap?
It wasn't apples/apples for some reason...
...emailed again regarding the plate... especially given I should have the car next Wednesday, I don't want to have to think of ways to hide two shitty holes in the front end!
I'll give a good account of 8AT 2019 vs 2023 6MT too...
Now I'm just waiting for 2019 AT models to get cheap enough to...
Yeah, you're right.
I'm getting them to chase numberplate now.
Thanks for the heads up mate, I've been very vocal about not destroying my front bar... Given my dealer already did that on my first one during a routine service.
edit: Misread the change in 2023 part. I hope that ain't the case.... But given they go from 3rd party dock yard, to car courier, to dealer... I'm optimistic it won't be molested :)
I can 100% confirm that the car is delivered WITHOUT the front plate attached, it's done at the dealer.
This is...
The edges cannot overhang the width of the car, and they must not be a sharp edge that could hurt pedestrians.
In a nutshell.
Check out the VSB for vehicle bodywork modifications for the boring (but same) answer.
Agreed. It does have a lot of blank space and is a little clunky. I used to have GPS on just to bring up the little map preview to fill the space... same for radar cruise haha.
I have to admit, this is my favourite dash of my whole fleet....
