how are the brake pads holding up?

ever since the dcm update, i get the tires not recognized warning on start up. :dunno:

take the wheel to a tire shop for a patch instead. $20ish? flat bed tow costed me $250. or try the flat tire stuff in the trunk. then the dealer will have to clean all that up. LOL

why not just take the wheel off and have them change the tire?

anybody know the part #s for the nylon nuts for the rocker panel trim screws. several got stripped using cordless ratchet. need to replace to secure side skirts.

did you really try concrete castings before switching to lego? say it isn't so.

i removed every aftermarket mod that might be electrically related before taking to the dealer for service. left on the hypercore because it was too much of a PITA to switch out. dealer said nothing about the crankcase ventilation error code with the sensor wire disconnected from the turbo...

yes, i had my dealer do dcm update and check charging system. everything's fine now...except auto start/stop. ;)

Fully charge the battery and test again.

the majority of the time, yes. but there are many days/nights when i'm working on it that i don't. now, i put the car to sleep with the volume control. i learned my lesson the hard way. getting stranded with a dead battery and lowered with a body kit is NOT fun.

now that I can finally start the car, I will be deleting old codes and run a new scan. :thumbsup:

finally got the car to start. I removed the JB4 and WMI. disconnected the DME too. the CTEK 4.3 did a reconditioning of the "new" battery. voltage output was 12.85. started the engine and it sputtered for a bit but it did not stall. :) CTEK tested starter and alternator as OK. initially black...

no visual on the adjuster. you'll just have to make multiple adjustments until you're satisfied. oem height is 14.5"

no airbags were deployed. waiting for ctek 4.3 test and charge. will retry jumping again with the new battery.

Main lines are secure in the trunk. Gonna check all the connections and fuses next.

yessir...twice to make sure recent scan still has a lot of codes citing "under voltage detected" now I see the severe battery discharge message
