Don't wanna pay for a block of plastic? You can make one out of LEGO that you steal from your kids! I've used this LEGO block several times and it has held up phenomenally.

I'd recommend using the thin plates in various sizes: 2x2, 1x3, 2x4, 2x3, etc. These will provide the best crush resistance since there's not much vertical space to crush. When building the block, offsets the plates like a brick wall to add strength. The dimensions you are after are 7x3x10.

After using the block the first time there was some minor bending but it has held up the car repeatedly without any concerns and I've been under the car without feeling like it's gonna come crashing down. Be sure to give your car a wiggle once it has fully rested on the stands and keep your jack ready to take over if it starts cracking.

My safety is worth more than the cost of good safety equipment. No one do this pls.

You bought a 60k car, you can afford to buy some adapters.
Totally!

But LEGO is just ABS plastic and has a higher compression strength than concrete.

i Long time ago there was a show called 1000 ways to die
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1105711/
it was a very good show of odd ways people have died. I don’t recall every seeing death by Lego but if I was to die by Lego than OP has a point.
some stories include a pair of virgins in late 30s died of heart attack from climax, a dude put a trampoline in a high riser and accidently bounced out window, dude trying to catch up work by working week straight no sleep and died by Coffee.
