Do you lock the door every night?

the majority of the time, yes.
but there are many days/nights when i'm working on it that i don't.

now, i put the car to sleep with the volume control.

i learned my lesson the hard way.
getting stranded with a dead battery and lowered with a body kit is NOT fun.

yes, i had my dealer do dcm update and check charging system.
everything's fine now...except auto start/stop.

Nice! Glad you got it all working.

Any idea how it happened? Seems like a lot of drama for a dead battery and replacement.

Glad you got her working again! I’ve seen multiple mentions of locking the car to save the battery. I just never thought it could be this severe for not doing so.

I just reinstalled the jb4 and car would just die out at startup.....reminiscent of day one of the issue.
removed the jb4 and car started up normally.
failure of the jb4 is the root of the problem.
didn't think it would happen but....it did to me.
thanks for everyone's help!

Try swapping out the obd2 cable for the jb4?

Wasn’t even connected to the obd2 when attempting to start.

BMS promptly sent me a replacement circuit board under warranty.
Installed the jb4 and everything is all good once again.

Great point. I always lock my '21 everytime I pull it into the garage. Purchased 7/21, 12k miles and still on the same battery. Anyone else have the same battery life, or even more?
