It's also covered in the strangest soft rubber material. I have no idea why, but its a different material to the rest of the dash. maybe to be softer on your knees if you hit it.
Fwiw, the giant mirrors are pretty much the saving grace for visibility on this car. I don't think I'd change them out having used them. There's a reason they're black on the standard cars haha.
Lol, I don't think anyone here thought it was just the manifold, esp considering the heads have to be entirely different for those different manifolds to work. There's already a thread on here from a few months ago outlining all the differences between the M1 and O1, including the block and...
The black looks really good and I'm not much of a fan of black cars. I think one of the reasons I like the black so much though is because I don't like the floating roof design with the black pillar, and the black paint blends that together enough that it changes the look. Looks more cohesive IMO.
They're plastic reflectors inserted into a notch in the bumper, just like how most reflectors are. I'm sure they're not super hard to remove, but they're def not stickers as far as I can tell.
That skidpad number is insane. The car felt quick on track but I wouldn't have guessed those Michelins could pull 1.07g, Jesus.
I guess my "feels faster than 335" wasn't off then. Toyota is sandbagging like crazy on the specs. I feel like weight is gonna be incorrect as well, maybe closer to...
Totally valid opinion! It's more German than all of us wanted I think, but at this point in time, there's quite literally nothing we can do about it.
As far as the aftermarket stuff goes though, I personally think it's all reasonable on Toyota's part. Why put a diff cooler if you don't need it...
These are both pretty accurate. The metallic in the blue shines through quite nicely. And it has a good "purple-ness" to it, which is what I wanted from a blue.
Also, in regards to the 86s fender vents, mine is cut out and it does a great job of heat extraction, but my engine bay is constantly filthy because of the water that gets inside when it rains. Probably a rust hazard too because snow gets in there and sits. As an OE, extraneous heat extraction...
Oh the Supra for sure. I'm not a huge fan of the RCF myself, looks too bloated IMO. The Supra looks very taut, with the wide rear hips that make it look very rear drive.
He was the wave after me, so I only saw him in passing. I have spoken to him via email before and one of my close friends owned the Alfa Romeo QV that he reviewed. He seems like a nice guy, very genuine to his personality that you see on camera. I don't want to make it seem like I'm attacking...
