While I do prefer a manual handbrake. These cars will hold the brakes themselves on a hill. And the electronic parking brake can be pressed while moving and used as an emergency brake. Battery being dead is definitely an annoying one though!

No. As mentioned in the OP, the MT is an option on every 3.0 trim. There are only 500 A91-MT special editions.
