Not one to typically watch Doug, but I noticed he was standing in front of an A91-MT during his Cars & Bids plug. I'm guessing he might be the first to make a video about it.
Man, y'all sure are extrapolating a lot from a video of Farah's face lmao. I'll wait til the embargo lifts before coming to any conclusions; other than the fact that this VR sounds better than a GT-R, but still sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Oh and the front fascia on these cars is not very nice.
I have been very lucky to have been around Supras all my life. Love them to death, and am happy that the MKV has grown to have a healthy community behind it, despite how different it is. The MKIV will always be the king, but I think we'll all find that the MKV Supra becomes a real mainstay of...
This gentleman, like most people who have built their Supras to that level, likely has built his car at least 3-4 times over.
He probably did a BPU build making 450, then when that wasn't enough, an APU build making 600hp. Then maybe he spun a bearing, or just wanted more, and built the motor...
100k to build a 2J? Honestly I'm having trouble even trying to imagine how to spend that much. Even a billet block is only 12-14k, and with everything else top-tier, you'd be hard pressed to crest 40k when its all said and done.
I built a 700whp Supra for about 8k in parts, machining, etc. It...
Different strokes for different folks.
I've owned my A90 since the beginning days and I'm so bored of it at this point. It's super fast, fun to drive, gets lots of track time. And I can't wait to get a GR Corolla and give the Supra to my fiancee.
I've spent my whole life driving manual. From...
While I do prefer a manual handbrake. These cars will hold the brakes themselves on a hill. And the electronic parking brake can be pressed while moving and used as an emergency brake. Battery being dead is definitely an annoying one though!
Welcome to the wonderful world of pre-production prototypes! I have seen some interesting cars slapped together in my day haha. This one ain't bad all things considered!
Oh that's the funny part! The original color is BMW Sparkling Copper Gray.
Toyota named it CU Later Gray.
CU is Copper on the periodic table.
Points to House Toyota for that clever one!
Correct, the post is my words, the press release below that are official stuff from Toyota. I am making an educated guess based off the info I have on the current supply chain and info given to me. But I will dig deeper on this.
Either way, it's not an out of the box BMW trans, but I imagine...
At long last, the Manual Transmission has been announced via press release from Toyota USA.
The highlights of the vehicle are:
All new 6-speed Manual Transmission, bespoke to the Supra, available on all 3.0 Trims
Retuned Traction Control system with "Hairpin+" logic
Retuned Electric Power...
I have no intention of buying one of these new, but I did want to say that darker tan leather is awesome and is exactly what I've been waiting for. That plus Portimao blue would have been amazing.
That being said, I have back pains and complain about zoomers even though I'm under 30, so maybe...
