I see you figured it out, but just for reference, you need to pop off the "Airbag" plastic cover to get at the bolt behind it. Then once its unbolted it'll pull off.
Considering we can't even have the windows down right now, imagine the wind buffeting with the roof off too!
jkjk, it looks dope. I wouldn't pick a targa myself but it would be an excellent option.
JZs with big cams are SEX at idle! Love that noise! I have GSC S1s on my Silver MKIV and its not quite a big cam but still sounds awesome.
I'm curious to hear what a B58 sounds like with the aftermarket Kelford Cams.
1. A90 Supra
2. BRZ x2 (Totaled one, currently own one)
3. A80 Supra x15 (Yes that is a flex haha and yes they're less fun than a [modded] BRZ)
4. 1959 Morris Mini with a B18c5 (OGs will know that this project is still incomplete)
5. '99 Toyota Avalon (Seriously an amazing automobile, should get...
Congrats Danny! Been a long time coming but I'm happy you finally got it!
Mr. Banana, I have totally seen you driving around in NY! Yours is the first A91 I've ever seen actually haha.
The 2.0 actually drives really nicely. It just needs a 4.10 LSD instead of the long ratio open diff, and it would be perfect. People need to realize that Toyota needs to sell as many of these cars as possible if we want to see more fun stuff from Toyota in the future. Toyota has no problems...
Pretty impressive stock figures, and not bad at all with just a tune, especially that torque figure. Curious to see how a downpipe would add to that. I think a 2.0 at 350hp might be an absolute monster on a track, the weight savings are no joke.
Yeah, you got the nail on the head there. Would require some surgery to make it an LED strip.
The tails I haven't taken a close look at so I'm not sure how many LEDs are in it, but tbh I don't think there are enough to create a sequential pattern in the traditional sense. I'm surprised the...
If you're not tracking, you'll be fine with the stock oil even in higher ambient temps. Without actual empirical data on oil pressures+temperatures, there's really no point in just guessing on diff oil weights for the hell of it, as is the pastime of so many forum dwellers. Your car will run...
Awesome video and I definitely feel the same about the potential of the 2.0.
Btw, their cars had a "recommended gear" indicator for fuel economy on the cluster. Do the North American cars not have that option, because I've never seen one with it? Wondering if that's buried in the menus somewhere.
