Update after drive #4..... it freaked out again after about 20 min of driving. But all I did was turn the system off for a minute then back on and it was fine. My ISTA cable will be here tomorrow so I will try the reset/learn procedure and see if that does it.
I turned off the same thing. Keep in mind, mine started working as it should after I let the car sit for a few days, not right after I flashed it. I think all the modules needed to go to sleep first. I would imagine unplugging the battery for a few minutes might do the trick.

I would love a plaid as a DD. My current electric DD is boring and on the slower side (a hair faster than a base model 3). If I could at least get some insane acceleration out of it, that would be awesome. Maybe once I sell a few of my cars and plaid prices go down, I’ll get one.
I just went in the app, changed one setting in the ac module and hit the flash button. It rewrites the entire module when you do that. But again, this isn’t any sort of update.
I didnt use ISTA yet. Need the cable for it first. I just tried reflashing the AC module with Bimmer code (so no update, just reloaded the cal). Will double verify next week when I drive the car again.
Drove the car today and the issue wasn’t there…. Maybe the coding worked and it just needed a key cycle to kick in? I did not power the car all the way down last night for testing.
I don’t have any issues with it besides what I said…. It’s only noticeable in stop and go traffic and/or cruising in the pits. Under normal street use, it doesn’t do anything odd. I might add, this is in manual mode only. Put it in normal instead of sport and leave it in drive and it’s night and...
My only complaint with stage 3 is that if I am cruising at say a constant 3000rpm in 1st gear, then shift to 2nd, its very harsh. Its perfectly fine/smooth in every other way.
