remember, the ECU's in these cars are all Load/Torque based, not boost. So boost will vary based on a number of things. Climate, mechanical load (gear), and etc.
So if by chance you're logging the car it will typically produce more boost in the higher gears because its targeting a certain...
not sure on number 1. This trans should be dyno'd in 6th following dyno rules of using 1:1. however 5th is acceptable on the 8HP due to some shops not wanting to roll that high of a speed.
looks about right. we tune on Mustang dynos 99% of the time. some people hate the the results until they put the same car with same tune on a dynojet, lol
Only thing I can say to that is maybe make a registry. Badge number and maybe last 7 of VIN? Idk.
The badge numbers are they embedded in the dash panel or is it literally a sticker?
agreed, almost makes it pointless for the badge numbers. Usually "Special edition" vehicles you can tell by the VIN what number you are. IE- old muscles cars and etc. But not sure why Toyota didnt do that.
You guys will find out very fast that good plugs and ignitions coils are detrimental to keeping these engines happy. I honestly don't go by time, only by mileage. i would guess on average people drive what, 14k worth of miles per year? i personally change plugs in my cars ever 10-12k or so...
