We tuned ours day one with 20 miles on it. turbo upgrade under 1k on it.
in regards to this. We already know the limits of the engine. I keep forgetting this is new stuff for many of the current vendors/owners. But we've been dealing with the B58 since the BMW debut a while ago. stock...
Ii agree, JB4 has its place and for anyone looking to go the piggyback route. The jb4 should be the only choice currently. As I said before, everyone any their momma is throwing up stuff to sell for these cars. With absolutely no experience of the platform. This can be dangerous for the consumer...
Just an update,
ECU lock on the released supras are not an issue. We have you taken care of via MHD. No bench unlock needed. Straight obd2 flash. With that we can provide custom maps for whatever you need.
They really sniff the cars there? Not just an obd2 check? I have many clients across the water and dont recall them having issues going catless as long as the obd2 checks out
Hit me up. Im literally the most experienced tuner on this platform. Feel free to check out my site and social media for all my bmw experience. We are in NY, but don't need to be with you to tune the car. But you could come up, or we travel too.

Anyone here got a late model with the locked ECU. Looking for a couple owners to do a test flash on the locked ECU via OBD2. We've successfully done two without needing a bench unlock. Just trying to widen the test pool a bit more before release.
You guys should really be careful all these piggybacks, just remember none of them iirc have any timing control and relies on the ECU to pull timing and save the engine. I can see now, that there are going to be vendors popping up all over trying to do tunes for these cars, with no knowledge of...
after we post record numbers on the PS2, we will be doing all variants of fuel on our shop car. 91, 93, 100, e30, e50, e85 and etc. full weight car as well. then move onto our 6466+ setup
edit: no nitrous on this car for a while. considering we have nitrous on two of our other shop cars already
We may have this figured out. As per my posts on my FB and IG (i know some people don't have either). But we are looking for 1 or 2 cars with the locked updated DME to bring in and pull a read on their ECU. And do a OBD2 test flash on the locked DME. our Partner MHD already have one...
its a mix of a lot of things. the torque reduction is necessary for the trans to shift properly, so that equates to helping longevity. The timing reduction slows engine engine speed just enough and reduce power just enough for the shift. In terms of reintroducing it smoothly, not so much. As...
What are you guys ok to deal with in terms of a fix for this? Fastest way would be something that uses 3M doubled sided tape to affix in its location. or do you want something completely molded in to the actual mirror cap or door.
