yea, just another step to hold us over until we finish our big kit. We were going to do a 6466 kit, but i think we've landed on the Garrett GTX3584RS to base our first kit around. Good for 550-1000hp. So should cover most people.
Pure turbo upgrade is quick direct bolt on upgrade that is...
Pretty much same base calibration. Just some code changed to block the original exploit for OBD2 flashing. But we cracked it already on MHD. So no worries.
Part of the problem is, with these piggybacks, there is no logging of some of the parameters that matter. From the look of the dyno, looks like the trans is requesting a power reduction. there are a few other things it could be. But i'll leave it at that. Many people out here throwing up...
difference is most of the cars after the LE and a few of the early build non LE ECUs received a dealer patch that locked the ECU from being flashed via the OBD2. Whereas LEs could be. This makes no nevermind now as we can flash all models with MHD now.
let me know if you need tuning help.
So im looking at the Full race kit. Hard to see from what photos they have posted, but looks like the turbo sits super low. Hows the oil drain look?
what you mean higher fuel and idle?
If your battery is bad, or weak it can cause those codes on these cars. As below a certain voltage, the ECU drops connection between other modules. The battery doesnt have to be dead and can still start the car, but voltage can be low enough to make the...
wireless charging will always cause a bit more heat than normal wired charging. Also, if you you have a lot of stuff running in the background on the phone while its charging that would also increase the rate of temperature rise. its definitely not just an "issue" with this car.
Definitely not Cat related, at least most of them anyway. Axle codes, radiator codes, power management battery faults, various comm faults. if all you have is the JB4, its probably that. Or another thing it could be is a weak battery, which i cant really see being the case on a car this new...
Again, making 1k and sustaining it is two different things. Neither engines stock rods and pistons will sustain 1000whp much longer than the other. Block blocks themselves though....will sustain 1k
we've been thinking about trying it. 1000hp should be doable, as thats like 875-900whp. Just tune it to keep the torque around 600tq. Would be enough to make a couple 1k passes.
But the flip side of that, its not real world as i know the rods and pistons wont last there. im not for the...
