I have a beautiful set of satin bronze Apex wheels that just had tires mounted. What do I do? Hand wash and wax? Does anyone recommend a ceramic coat? Really want to protect and keep the beautiful satin finish clean. I still have a week or two of crap weather, so no rush!
If you are concerned at all, do the right thing and just get a high flow catted downpipe. Same tone, a bit more volume and more power. I would do the downpipe before anything else!
Neither. AWE Touring. Stock downpipe or even high flow catted? Get the non-res touring. Catless? Get the resonated touring (non-res still sounds awesome, just a little loud). NO DRONE
Will see if one of the local diesel bros will let me borrow a truck....also just noticed you went with a 295/30 setup in the rear? Not a 295/35? In the pictures, is your car lowered?
Hangs low, prone to cracking and is going to be really loud/drone with any aftermarket downpipe. I’d buy something more reasonable, that fits better and either retains the valve or has a proper sim for it.
You can pull the stock motor off and leave it unplugged, but I would recommend what most of us have done instead which is pull the fuse out of the box instead. Worst case, you may get a code once (I did) but it won't even throw the check engine light. Is the AWE piece necessary? Not really, but...
