Aite, here are the rears. It's all the colors that we're supposedly getting, and then RSP because I'm still mad there's no RSP. :banghead:
Black
White
Frozen Frey, sort of (I can't really make it satin :/)
RSP because I'm a little bitch
Atacama Yellow
Mediterranean Blue
Crimson Red

I think I've mentioned this before, but, the release of this car is almost exactly as drawn out as the 86's was. And this forum has been exactly like FT86Club during those early days. We fought and complained and speculated and prayed about a thousand different things, AE86 enthusiasts came and...
I believe this is what it will be as well. These are adaptive dampers with standard springs, not air suspension. The 7mm lower is compared to the basic suspension option I believe.
This should be a little closer?
Edit: got caught up with work again, I'll try to do the rear tomorrow. As a bonus here's RSP. Try to keep it in your pants, we're never getting it :p
FWIW, there was one reviewer that specifically said that it did not have artificial sound augmentation and another that explicitly said it did. So to be fair, I'm not really sure what to believe on that. Typically though, Toyota has been a fan in intake resonator tubes for sound enhancement...
I think we'll have to wait and see. Considering the car is making ~350/369 at 7psi, and full torque (electronically limited) from 1600rpm, it's definitely got room to grow. Roadblocks that I'm foreseeing from the get go are going to be stock turbo size (which might not be too big of a deal until...
Yeah that's what stuck out to me too. Damn, that's heavy lmao. I guess the "under 1500kg" claim that many the reviewers have mentioned for Supra is in fact a significant weight savings over the Z4. There's no way in hell we're under 3200 though, that's just too much of a differential. My guess...
So, I just spoke to Gushi to get some more candid impressions of his drive. He says that, in his opinion, this chassis is the best to come out of Toyota, period. The engine and transmission will be tweaked further, but this is a car that is also asking to be fiddled with in the aftermarket, and...
I believe the mention of the RHD market is more implying its availability on the 4-cyl model, as the 4cyl is yet to be confirmed for North America (aka the big LHD market). That's just a guess though.
Almost every review mentioned the torsional rigidity being on par with the LFA, this was part of the press briefing at Jarama. I know for a fact the Lexus chassis is almost 2.5x as torsionally strong as an 86, which is an incredibly competent chassis itself.
Warranty stuff I'm not worried...
