I'm very pleased so far. Looks to be shaping up to be a great platform. Tada-san will also be ensuring that tuners have good access to the ECU prior to launch as well. Road manners that good with a chassis that rigid is very exciting indeed.
That's because Toyota and Lexus generally put big sound deadening panels over the DI pumps to mitigate noise. The pumps themselves are pretty loud a lot of the time. Porsche DI pumps are loud as all hell too, its pretty funny hearing one idling.
Just need a louder exhaust and some ethanol to...
I mean, for what its worth, fade is largely down to pad and fluid, not really the caliper per se. That being said, look at it this way: the smaller the brakes are, the lighter the car must be! Right? Right???? :banghead:
Just kidding! The brakes seem to be off the 5 series (as far as size...
Here's a couple more screenshots from that Italian stream. As I mentioned previously, It's Atacama Yellow, which is an awesome color.
Also, of course take this with a grain of salt, but this publication also says:
I'm just guessing, I have no solid information. This is just based off the photos of the engine bay, and now the same redline, which I guess isn't too much to go off of, but still. I was really banking on at least an apparent cylinder head difference, but so far I haven't found it.
I haven't...
I think you'll find that it does indeed have the same redline as the BMW, 6500 with cutoff at 7000. More evidence for identical motors, as well as being in-line with other B58 equipped models. Sucks, but I think we are stuck with the updated B58 and not much more.
There it is, lol. I guess we're finally at the point where Tada-San is cool with talking about the GRMN. Doesn't mean we'll ever see it in the states though! :bonk:
Yeah, I can't see the standard Supra being that much faster than the Z4. If the car is breaking into the 7:4x's then perhaps that's just for a faster GR version? Either that or the Z4 is just kind of slow, because honestly a 7:55 isn't particularly fast in this day and age.
What's interesting...
