This morning I had a nice little old lady (Iām talking >70 years old) in her BMW X5 give me an enthusiastic thumbs up and then she had her phone out and was either taking pics or filming. Suuuupra.
Iām going with the AC Schnitzer tune. Research suggests itās the best without doing a complete flash.
Plus I can get one of these engine covers, legit

Pricing in 2-3 weeks....
yep. Same.
Owned a 86 for 3 years. My buddy and I swap cars now & then: his is a ā19 Cayman S. The 86 handles and gives driver feedback like the Cayman; the Supra simply does not. I love the Supra and would take it any day over the 86, but Iād be lying if I said I donāt miss the special...
August 15: 4000 miles. Daily driver. Sheās a sweetie.
Gets challenged a fair amount here in Texas by drivers in vastly inferior rides who are somehow intimidated by itāV8 pickup trucks, dodge chargers, and the like. Yesterday, I spanked a young fool in a Jag XJ who was just waiting to blow by...
Does the TRD handling package on the 2020 86s sound great or whatāover what we have/had in our 86s?

Well said.
I felt my Supra was a definite upgrade. But I cherish what the 86 could give in terms of pure driver experience. 86: 10 tenths car; Supra: mostly, 9 tenths car.
I do recommend the Supra for the same. I daily it. Itās comfortable. Itās fun on all kinds of roads. Iām happy. My weekend warrior car is currently the ZR1. So I can compare that too, and thereābetween the Supra and the ZR1āis significant difference. Between the Supra and the 86, based on your...
I get the steering wheel complaint. Itās not sporty. Toyota should have gone with a sport steering wheel option like Porsche offers on the Cayman. More people would probably pick the steering wheel currently offered than a sport option, just like more people choose the AT over the MT in the 86...
Itās difficult to quantify funāboth as a subjective feeling one may have and then as a feeling that carries a dollar amount. That said, based on you saying youāre no racecar driver, and want to enjoy coastal roads, I recommend the 86. Itās a fantastic and fun car. Youāll feel like a sports car...
I owned a 86 for 3 years. I got the first one sold in Austin in Sept 2016. Daily drove it until trading it this August for the Supra.
The 86 is a great car. The manual transmission, the steering, really connect you to the road. Itās a ten-tenths carā Bottom line. When I drove it hard, it never...
I plug in a small usb memory stick (aka thumb drive) and listen to my favorite tunes.
No problemā except I canāt figure out how to fast forward within a track/mp3 file.
Anyone know how?
Thanks in advance!
