The C63 is a brilliant thing. It's just such a comical, analogue old school car.
It all pends on the test drive - if it makes me giggle like the AMG does, maybe i'll go through. I might be able to use it for work as well and help reduce costs.
If you could drive a W204 C63, and compare to A90, I'd be interested.
I realise they're not even remotely in the same league - but I have to sell my C63 to fund an A90, and I would like to hear what gives you the biggest smile.
Yep. I've been quizzing the head of bringing the A90 in at Toyota about those exact details.
I asked specifically about the brakes, and he said the models would mirror what is sold overseas
He admitted that they're still quite in the dark on what we are actually.getting in terms of spec...
The key with vegemite is to only have a little, with lots of butter. There's something wrong with people who smear it on :P
Yeah, we ended up rebuilding the heads and transmission and building long-tube headers.... and then got distracted with another project lol.
We do pizza and beer... we...
Yep. TBH it was easier than trying to root around leaving everything in place.
I'm no expert, I'm not a mechanic.... but I DIY pretty much everything these days.
I upgraded from the hipermax II to the hipermax IV GT and they are a seriously nice bit of work. The struts themselves are sleeved so you don'ty have to adjust spring preload to adjust ride height.
That's correct. The details I have are that "they mirror overseas model trims"
I was all set to put an order down next week, but I've had a change of heart. I just don't think i can part with the AMG yet. It's too much fun, and I can't have five cars.
We did a 2006 745i - it needed the water-cooled alternator replaced, but my mate (owner) wanted to take a look at the gearbox too.
It was easier to just pull the front of the car off to access the alternator, and by that stage it was the quick-release fuel lines, AC lines and wiring harness...
