The other differences is that the AFR 'sweet spot' on a DI engine is different than port injection, you can control cylinder temps and control the burn a lot easier - you don't need to run 11.5:1 (on 98RON) full boost on a DI engine, so there is overall less fuel consumed.
Tuning DI is fun and...
that's awesome man. exciting times. lucky bugger getting to have dinner with him!
Us poor aussies still don't even know how much the thing is going to cost :|
You didn'tr happen to notice if the vehicle displays on the screen could display vital info such as oil pressure, temp etc? rather than just power/torque?
Nah man, the dash is the only thing that could make a cockpit driver focussed, important stuff like seating position and height makes zero input.
Edit. Please note my sarcasm
yeah, we're the second biggest market for AMG in the world.
I think the RZ spec will be 85-120k
Orlando (the man responsible for bringing the A90 in) stated it would be cheaper than the top sec Z4 but more expensive than the base. So between 89 and 115k.
100%
I really hope they can price the Supra as competitive as the 86 was. That was a brilliant piece of work.
My insiders at Toyota HQ in Melbourne are hinting closer to 100k than 80k.
At that price.... it's going to be a tougher fight in our market.
Best V6 exhaust note.... haha
A V6 will never compare to an inline six. Especially something old school from BMW like the M88. Easily the best inline six note.
