You had the same idea I did when I saw this earlier, I mean mine is tuneable but for the people with 2021s post June. I saw this one and was like holy god how do you f up the harness mounts like this.

I saw that video, it’s interesting he snapped the bearing cage. If it was just that you can normally pull a cage out of a trashed car and put it in along with the bearings and a new boot but it heavily depends on cost and availability. That’s mildly concerning if the axles can snap on stock...
In regard to ecutek I just was talking with Visconti and all you need is the kit which on their site was 1000.00 and then the custom tune of course would be an additional out of pocket cost. But that included the license and dongle etc
Wouldn’t there still be a “maximum” boost level that the DME allows before stopping more from being produced? Otherwise the car would just produce as much boost as possible for the requested load and added conditions like ambient temps, fuel type etc
Can someone definitively tell me the all factory boost levels of the A90 2020 supra. I’ve read different things ranging from 10 to 14psi and I’m trying to figure out if I’m loosing boost somewhere or if it’s where it should be. I’ve used the search but seemingly it’s not mentioned unless...
So I’ve been throwing a “exhaust camshaft clamped” code since shortly after I got my mkv and I finally had a chance today too remove all the wiper arms and all the surrounding shrouds and got access to the actuators. Thankfully they’re incredibly easy to get too and I swapped the intake and...
It’s actually incredibly easy haha once I removed the windshield wiper surround it’s a clear shot straight to the vanos actuator and they spin and come out
I believe it is the actuator, I’m not sure why they don’t call them the same thing since they are based on one video I’ve found. Small black circular piece
Has anyone replaced their Vanos solenoids, specifically the exhaust side, on their b58 and how was it? I know it’s possible without needing to pivot the motor or anything but would love some feedback. I can’t imagine I’m the first person doing this. Any B58 would be helpful if someone has a link...
