Got a chance to do a test and tune at beech bend today. Started with a 13.1 pass which was garbage and improved on my next 3 runs every time.
ended the night with a 12.4 quarter mile at 113mph. 1.9’on the factory tires with 32k miles on them.

I mean depending on the gear your in you can get turbo lag in any car if you’re stomping on it it in a higher gear vs downshifting and getting into the powerband.
unless there’s a significant size difference between the turbo I wouldn’t expect a large difference in the spooling characteristics
I mean they have the option but I highly doubt this is going to be the case. The fact they wouldn’t have done it in the first place as an option to test the market seems odd and the fact they would wait until the Z comes out means they lost a lot of opportunity they would have had otherwise...
