Seriously? I guess they didn't start Building manuals until September 2022 if the manual was a 2023 option? So you waited 11-12 months after production started.
The Supra is the 3rd new car I've ordered in the last year. The Kia was supposed to be an 8 month wait and it was delivered in 6. The...
Well the factories in Europe normally close for holidays in August and generally tool up for the new model in that time ready for the re start of production in September. Thats my experience. Don't know for sure now.

Well I ordere mine at the beginning of January and emaild the dealer yesterdabout delivery. No word at all about anything yet. I'm wondering if I'll be getting a 2024 model now. The factories usually start the next years production model after the August holidays in Europe. Don't know and...
I saw one of these recently while out and about. I wasn't stunned that Tesla would make it more that someone would buy it.
Whenever I see something like this that seems impractical, unsuitable or otherwise unique I always consider the "it's different attraction" People will chose the most...
All I know is this. There is a parallel situation, I agree a tenuous one between ICE cars and motorcycles and EV's and the the jet age aircraft and the piston engine aircraft. I spent my whole career working on and flying at the pointy end Commercial jet aircraft and believe me the Jet engine is...
Yea I thought thats what the issue was. Here's a fun fact. To achieve what all the "green people" want, IE the world converted to electric, so wind turbines, solar panels, electric cars etc requires a 400% increase in the production of copper alone. Currently it takes 17 years to get a copper...
Well although not well explained technically it's basically true. The electricity system needs to respond to loads and generators are brought on line and off line as part of that process for different hours of the day and different circumstances. So hot nights with everyone at home with their...
A competent painter has all this covered it's not some special painting rocket science. The orientation of the panels for painting at the factory and for repair needs to be the same for the metallics in the paint to match orientation, it's all grist to the mill for a good painter. He can always...
Exactly. It's not like a clutch doesn't give you warning it's at the limit so why not just upgrade when and if required. The "must have" clutch upgrade from the people selling clutches, lol.

I've only used expanding foam once many years ago. The only useful insight I can give you is it's messy and if it's trapped in any part of an enclosed piece it generates enough pressure to do damage.

The FocusRS system worked perfectly but then again I was never in a situation where I was trying to inch forward repeatedly because I didn't use the car for commuting.
Whats the issue with Hill start assist. I love it on my other manual cars and believe me I'm an expert at hill starts after 45 years driving manuals.

This happens a lot with motorcycle headlights and to some extent instruments. The cause is high humidity during assembly ( remember the lights could be made in a country with a tropical climate not necessarily in Germany) of what is pretty much a sealed unit. The fix is easy enough if you can...
It was the same on the Focus RS forum. Perceived clutch problems, CDV and upgrade solutions then nothing. People just learned how to use a clutch I guess. It's not as simple as people think. New Ducati owners back in the day when they had dry clutches often struggled to understand the clutch...
So all stirring aside what we have is a car that's more than happy to "steer on the throttle" BUT has selectable electronic assistance to negate that aspect of it's character for or if you dont want it. I'd say that's a win win. Better than a car that won't or is reluctant to steer on the...
