I am also waiting for the new GT500...apparently “Venom Kills Demons.” Right now, my list goes like this; GTR, GT500, ZR-1(if I can find a fantastic deal), or MKV Supra (if they don’t screw it up). The MKV is the oddball in the list, and the only reason I am interested is because of the price...
....right!?!?! This is what’s driving me mad, is that they (Toyota) think or believe this is what the buyers want. Let’s be real here, how many members on this forum will actually buy this car based on what we know up to this point? I think Toyota misinterpreted that old saying of “if...
I don’t hate the new Supra....and I apologize if I sounded rude.
I am just aggravated at all the latest news....nothing seems exciting or cool. I’ve been in a position to buy a high-end sports car for the past two years....I have only held back from purchasing one because of the mystery behind...
Your a smart guy/girl (just like 2JZ-No-Sh*t), im sure you can figure out what I do for work.
Btw, I love how the “experts” on this forum who wait for a perfect time to attack “specific” posts when the majority feels the same way. Bunch of fake ass enthusiasts who won’t even look twice at this...
Every Supra had it’s own version of the badging....the MKV shouldn’t have been an exception. The idea that they are riding out the MKIV hype on a car that will be 1/3 of what the MKIV was is an embarrassment.
Cut the crap....it’s an ugly logo. Looks like lettering on a 3yr olds toy!!! All...
What was so difficult or expensive for Toyota to reuse a great logo from the MKIV?....or come up with a whole new design? This “new” logo looks like an eBay knock-off of the MKIV’s logo....so bad .
A70TTR, you knew this way back when I was asking and didn’t say anything...:bat:
But the FT-1 shows them off much better because of its low and stretched stance. I don’t mind wide fenders, just not that aggressively transitioned. Why couldn’t they do it like the MKIV or 911?
Those rear fender bulges....:puke:
Also, why are they still covering up the headlights as if we haven’t seen the whole thing? Is there another revision of the headlights in the works?
One of the "better" articles I have come across that clearly explains the German auto industry's struggles with reliability. Educate yourself:

We "so called
It's the so called "enthusiasts" that know the difference between quality and quantity in a legendary sports car. The rest are just Beiber fans wanting to rock a "Supra" to try and get laid.
You are right, not EVERYTHING German made is crap (i think we all know this from the Getrag V160 in the Supra Turbo). When I say "German Engineering" im talking in the context of building cars as a whole. Again, "German Engineering" is not marketed for it's reliability or practicality....it is...
