I use the kit like this (with the 360 fittings) and have zero issues at 600whp+ on E40 It's kind of funny, I actually bought their kit before they offered it like this, but set it up like this because the other setup was wayyyy too bulky for me. I guess they read my mind. ;)

Power comes from the BDC (not in the engine bay like some other kits) so I don't see why not but I would double check with the company.

haha. I assumed you were eluding to an install issue. :) So you can connect to the car with apps like bimmerlink/bm3/mhd/etc via the OBD2 port while the CANchecked device is also showing data items? I'm starting to think I got a FU version of the device.
