Good points. From what I gather, the US will be getting the 340hp car first (the standard car), then the GRMN version (likely branded TRD here) later on. And yes, it's the 340hp car that lapped the Z4 by ten secs lol What I'm confused about now is how the Spec-A and Spec-B cars roll out...

yeah, can you imagine what the GRMN car might be capable of... I heard it may actually be north of 385hp with a few CF body parts. what if we see a ~2700lb car with 400hp? O___O

It's pretty crazy... Now it makes sense how it's able to keep up with the Cayman GTS. That GRMN car is gonna be insane.

Even more information since today is a day of days... The car weighs under 2900lbs and does indeed have 340hp in non GRMN guise. That's all you're getting out of me today lol. I'm amazed I even got that much honestly.

Oh, forgot to add, 4cyl option has not been dropped and is still being tested. Apparently if there is a hybrid version of the car (this is not being developed now but may in the future) they will use the 4cyl as the base, so if nothing else it's still being developed. What I didn't like hearing...

I asked one of the marketing/PR people and they said it's slotted to possibly replace the FJ Cruiser in order to compete in the offroad/adventure segment.
