Absolutely no way they would fit with stock struts. Coilovers are a must with a 11" wheel up front. I also run 3.2° of camber up front which keeps the tire from poking out. Its a tight squeeze but it does work! Same goes for the rear, I think 315s are all we can fit. Barely clears on both sides.
I run 315s all around on Apex 18x11s. No rubbing except if I am trying to do a sharp u-turn. My car is only .5" lower than stock which I am sure plays a big part in it.
So I decided to take the Supra out for date #3 with this girl (her first time in it and its been like 2 weeks since the Supra has been out). On the way home, a Mustang pulls up next to us and starts flipping us off.... that ended when he ended up a couple cars behind. My date told me to go for...
Well you better hurry up and run the Speedway again before they start tearing it down. Its getting close to time. They cancelled my normal race series because they said construction should start this year.
@NitroYellowMKV no need for a long post like that. You made it very clear in your first post that you were doing this for the community. I knew I wasn't going to win but still shot you the $ just to support you cause I like what you are doing for all of us. Then you go all out and offer...
Ya you are a bit far.... haha. I might be up your way next month though. Depending on exactly where you end up in LA, I may be far or I still may be really far haha.
From the sounds of it, those springs will be perfect for you. I ran the same setup for a bit. Feels almost like stock around town, not too low and helps keep it a bit flatter during auto-x. Add a front sway bar in and should be fun!
@krumpir and @SupraKit
What city are you guys in? If you are close enough, wondering if I can go for a ride in one of your cars before I pull the trigger on the Swifts.
