Drove the car today and did some datalogging. The intake is obnoxiously loud, like hooligan level, but that is just my opinion. Preliminary data is showing much higher boost level for the same amount of WGDC, which points to the setup I had before being a restriction.
Setup before: OEM airbox...
Negative pressure? Uhhhh. The manifold sees all the boost the engine sees. Those injector plugs will pop out the second you hit any boost if you don’t have the rail in to secure them.
Springs in the rear change absolutely nothing about the wheel to strut clearance. 19x11 +40 should not even come close to touching the rear strut. I'm running rear true coilovers with the spring on the strut which basically has a little less clearance than stock and I run 18x11 +40 with zero...
Endplates do very little as far as the whole picture. This was tested here: https://occamsracers.com/2023/11/17/testing-end-plates-in-a-wind-tunnel/
You def read the info packet incorrectly.
They stopped selling them because they were paper thin and wouldn’t even last one track day. They are doing a rev to make them more robust, hopefully.
rear rotors internal fins aren’t directional so doesn’t matter what side, front you position them by fin direction.
Wear sensors are front left and right rear. One each on the inside brake pad. Total of two sensors.
Pads are two pads each side. So four pads total front, four pads total rear.
Totally non scientific side by side lap video comparison of the RE71RS and V730 tires I did this week if anyone was curious. More details in the video description.
