So far so good on the Dorch HPFP. Had two back to back track days this week and zero HPFP issues with added boost on E40-E43.
The OEM HPFP would have maxed the HPFP angle and dropped rail pressure with this type of boost below 6,000 rpm.
yes, I believe so, it's just an AN fitting so would be easy, and it's the low pressure side, and yes, I put some fresh plugs in before the install. So far I put new plugs in about every six months or so, so I'm not too worried about it.
Pump install was very easy overall if you are mechanically...
BM3 supports full flex fuel. Reflex is mainly for port injection (can also be used for ethanol reading), which MHD+ offers full DME interoperability with.
BM3 rev2 will also offer port injection and full DME interoperability. If it ever comes out. Don't hold your breath. Probably in 2 years weeks.
That all goes away with aero. That was the biggest thing I felt when I moved to adding aero.
Also, the brake programming that is being tested also seems to help alleviate that as the brake vectoring doesn't seem to dance around as much anymore.
If they are well versed in Gen2 B58 and have a good reputation, go for it. What I have found is that "tuners" that know Gen1 and haven't touched Gen2 get frustrated when things they know no longer apply.
