I've run both the same compound F/R and staggered like I did on cars before the Supra. I prefer the same compound F/R on the Supra. Just my own experience.

Honestly it really depends on the tire too. As you know, some run narrow, some run wide.

Right, but you have to think of them both together as a system. It's been proven time and time again that a tire too wide for the wheel it's on will not be optimum as far as grip and feel.
