Yea, I used to drive Buttonwillow, I know the surface well. :)
My new home track, Lime Rock, is also hard on left front tires but I still get pretty even wear. Once you go square, rotating makes a big difference.
Why does this thread feel like I'm now on a Corvette owners forum?
It's a car. Drive it, enjoy it.
My "OMG IT'S SO SPECIAL" *actually numbered* Launch Edition... sitting in the garage not being driven after a hand spit wax and kisses from my lips...
Or, since it's the exact same hatch since 2019....
Pop the two little plastic panels that have ridges on them off, take off two bolts, then pop the plastic cover off. Done.
Looks like you are overdriving. Do you just pound on the car lap after lap? Also, from what I can see in the photo, the tire might be oversized for the wheel width, which won't help either.
Those Federals aren't helping either. ;)
I do use BM3. It's a great platform. About a year ago everyone would parrot "ECUTEK IS GOD! ECUTEK IS GOD! ALL OTHER TUNING SOLUTIONS ARE CRAP!" without knowing what they where talking about.
It's since quieted down, probably because June 2020+ ECU's can now have BM3 CustomROM with no cloning...
Not correct. The original rom on the car is over written with BM3. The stock rom in BM3 is whatever they have on their server for the car. Just to be clear: BM3 does NOT read out your stock rom and store it.
Just went through this with them. My original ROM on the car didn’t need bench unlock...
Yea I would try dialing it out with what you have currently. Try the Comp/Rebound changes I suggested. I would just do it by 2 clicks at first to see how it feels.
I also run lower tire pressure in the rear by about 1-2psi
What about at higher speeds? Might want to bring down rebound in the rear and up the compression in the front.
Do you also get oversteer when turning in not under braking?
What tire pressures front/rear?
Not sure what you are asking about? You can run spacers or not, up to you.
I use Adobe Premiere but for the Garmin stuff I just export it from the device.
Just want to make sure people are clear about some of my videos:
Here is the same lap at Lime Rock Park...
From the Garmin:

If you measure center to fender it doesn't matter the tire size. Also, the suspension geo doesn't change with tire diameter differences. Geo only changes when you actually lower/raise the car with the suspension components.
I'm currently at 13.75" front and 14.0" rear. OEM is 14.5" center to to...
