  1. Stay away from Geico

When they offer coverage for them yes. Perhaps you missed the part where I was already looking for an insurance provider that provides coverage for aftermarket parts. Would rather not lose $20,000+ in parts if the car gets totaled on the street.
  2. Stay away from Geico

Lol, the whole point was to get the mods covered. Also, I don't like committing insurance fraud.
  3. Stay away from Geico

At least I got a new windshield installed today on Geicos dime...
  4. Stay away from Geico

Yea, looking at Grundy and Hagerty now.
  5. Stay away from Geico

So, a couple months ago I noticed Geico started offering aftermarket parts coverage. As I was looking around at other companies for this, I was excited to see Geico was offering it now, so I added my parts and stayed with Geico. Fast forward to today. Geico is canceling my insurance based on my...
  6. Passing SMOG with BM3 and MHD?

Did you just ignore my post telling you to contact BM3 support and ask them what the proper way is to flash back to stock CVN with their software? Their support is great. Use it.
  7. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Yea that should work. Putty knifes are even thinner.
  8. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Seriously, get a putty knife, they are cheap and it makes easy work of them.
  9. Lowering Springs for daily driving/occasional track use

They use the KW motorsports coilovers. Very different than consumer grade.

Me either, which is why I documented it.
  11. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

lol. Last year when I brought this same thing up, there where MULTIPLE people telling me I was fill of crap because "why would anyone glue pads to the pistons?" I even took video and photos of the glue, not only on my used OEM pads but brand new OEM pads with the 3M logo on the tape. People...
  12. Trac on when speed cornering

I'm assuming you checked the tire pressures? I've had tire shops in the past pump them up to 40psi+
  13. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

A putty knife works wonders for the pads. Thin enough to get in there without issues.
  14. DIY - Hooking up AIM Devices (MXM)

Why not use the JB4 app on your phone for that?
  15. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Yup, I’m doing the afternoon block.
  16. DIY - Hooking up AIM Devices (MXM)

Yes it will work. This taps into CAN, JB4 is obd2
  17. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

I'm doing Lime Rock in June for two days, then Thompson on the third day. I will probably highly regret this decision but at least I will have a lot of track time. :P
  18. If you could will you do it all over again?

Coming from tracking, tuning, and modding Evos for the last 19 years, I feel this. Suspension mods make a big difference though. The rear is still numb compared to Evos so you just have to trust it and anticipate corrections. If you aren't pro-active about it, it's too late.
  19. Trac on when speed cornering

It gets more sensitive when the car is lowered. Also, have you done an alignment?
