So I took a look over all my logs from yesterday and they all had 25-30F higher IAT at cruise so I thought that was odd. I thought I might still have air in the system so this morning I bled it all again and went out and grabbed more logs.
Now at cruise, before WOT, the temp is 15-18* higher...
So you won’t anti submarine, which is different than what you are describing. Oem belts are meant to flex, harness are not.
I’m still amazed how I always have to explain the importance of a HANS with a harness. I think I’m done and I’ll let Darwin take over.
I run the oem seat belt on street and six point harness (with Hans) on track with a Sparco race seat. It’s a straightforward setup.
ASM harness isn’t safer without a HANS. ASM= anti submarine and nothing to do with “rotating towards an airbag”
Swapped my OEM intake manifold for the Wagner Intake manifold. So far on the street, it looks very promising. I'll share more data once I get the car back on the track for the season.
Power mods:
Pure 700 Turbo
GESI catted downpipe
BM3 tuned (track tune)
Stock intake manifold 3rd to 6th gear...
2020 runs less boost stock for stock so that can help. I'll be sharing intake manifold data soon. It still amazes me people talk about one being better than others but I have yet to see anyone share any actual data, just "bro all the fast guys use it." Car bowling is very different than circuit...
Find someone with small hands and skinny arms. Make sure you have long pick tools and a long flathead screwdriver helps to pry the coolant connections off the oem manifold.
Everything but the coolant connections are super easy on the oem manifold.
Installing the aftermarket manifold is a pain...
Actually own this car, have experiences with this car, talk about this car. All this account does is reply “great job!”, can’t wait to see more!”, “ take photos!”.
It’s fake as all F and everyone can tell. That’s why nobody engages. It’s all noise. This isn’t instagram. Just stop trying...
alignment sheet looks fine. Are you talking about the front? it looks like your steering wheel isn't straight in that photo. If it is, that means the wheel moved when they where setting your toe and you should take it back for them to make sure the wheel is straight when they set your toe.
Is...
These two connections to the OEM intake manifold can literally burn in eternal hell fire. Holy cow what a pain in my ass.
30 minute job if these weren’t a part of it.
