  1. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

Palmer Motorsports Park yesterday. I didn't sleep well the night before and the day had seven cars crashing into walls and a coolant spill that almost took me out so needless to say I was feeling a little off all day. My last session I took a passenger out then decided to do a couple more fun...

Yea I don't think there is one photo of me in there that isn't a blurry mess. lol
  3. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

My Lime Rock day back in April was a wet mess but at least I got some nice photos out of it...

hahha same. The experience made me stay away from Hawk pads ever since.
  5. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Hah, it’s definitely selective! I have an ever growing list of honey-dos…

Mike and I have carport A and B. See location below that I circled in green. It looks like there are two carports left if you want to grab one, if not, you can grab a paved spot next to the carports! To book carports: https://www.palmermotorsportspark.com/EventDetails.aspx?LID=91&EID=1800
  7. Wastegate possible issue?

You have multiple fill limits tripped in that log. 2, 3 and 4. For 3 you should log HPFP angle.

an angle grinder?? LMAO I wish TireRack offered mobile service where I live. That said I have a local place that does a pretty good job. I would rather just be lazy though. :)

i'll take both the 70 and 60 rears off for now
  10. What did you do to your Supra today?

Oooh interesting. I assume that bolts into the iron diff casing and not just the aluminum cover?
  11. Enkei GTC02 18x10.5 +35 paired with 295/40/18 falken rt660s Square Setup. Will I rub?

I ran the exact same wheel with 295/35/18 Conti Forces on track with zero rubbing at. I did have -3.4 front camber however and only lowered .5"

Confirmed with? Let me know and I'll take it off the list.

I get to play with the cup cars at Lime Rock on occasion. They come out on the rare non sound restricted days. I always make sure to check my mirrors more often those days. ;) I actually have two unrestricted days with HOD coming up in June. 4 hours of open hot track each day. I did one day like...

All 2/3/4 series with the blue calipers, which are the M Performance/sport brake package, exactly same brakes as the Supra, and like @Rocksandblues stated, the Z4. Also all the 2/3/4 "M-lite" models, M240i/M340i/ etc. Don't confuse them with the M Motorsports brake option which have 380mm front...
  15. 4/5-point harnesses with stock seats

I think you misunderstood what he was saying. I believe he is saying using a OEM 3-point with a racing bucket on track isn't the best idea. I also have both the OEM 3 point I use on the street and a 6 point that I use on track.
  16. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Yea it adds up, hence me deciding to do less events this year, lol.

Looking through past purchases. I think it's dependent on region too. Last coverage I bought through Lockton was using Nova Casualty Company as the provider Back in 2016, in California, Lockton used AIX Speciality Insurance for the provider Looking at my old Hagerty receipts, you are right...

Run a TT in the same HPDE group? My loathing for NASA events continues, lol.
  19. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Yup, that is a good amount more than covering a HPDE event. Some coverages are track dependent but that is easily $100 more than what I pay for normal HPDE days, and that price you quoted is easily $100 less than what I have been quoted for TT events in my region. It’s been almost double. Also...
  20. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

Why are we talking about time trials when we brought up pointby/open passing in HPDE events? Whole different ball game. If Time Trial organizers aren’t having staging/spacing/open passing, they are shiat time trials. Also fun fact, track insurance for time trials is much more expensive than...
