Anyone serious about track use should be looking at pads with .40-.65 coefficient of friction and at least 1300F max ability.
The temp capacity are table stakes.
You'll notice that the beloved (but way too expensive) CSG C21 pads tick all those boxes. .42-.48 friction and 1760F max.

Braking power is fine. Brake feel is not. That is what people complain about.
Drive an Evo, CTR or Golf R and you’ll see what we mean.
I tracked Evos for years so I am used to all the feels. The Supra is numb compared but as we all know, still super capable.
100% agree on brake wear being track dependent.
Yes, the brake feel sucks on this car compared to others. The Verus cylinder brace helped, as well as good fluid. I currently run Endless although I was a SRF user before that.
As far as traction control and low tire pressure. It will turn back...
Sure, if you are starting out as a driver. Although there is a good argument there for keeping it all on.
I happen to find the car plenty fast with just one click off and I like having that safety net. Maybe it's because I have the years of experience of not driving like an ape. ;)
I don't find it intrusive one click off. I'm in advanced group and I have 20+ years of experience and don't drive like an ape. Now, traction control fully on is way too intrusive.
I also took a look through some of my data. In this instance, it's actually actuating the front brakes, not the...
I run with one click off. So not fully off. I also log brake pressure per wheel so I can see when it's brake vectoring. I do see 2% pressure in some corners when I am not physically on the brakes. 2% to me doesn't seem like actual brake vectoring though. Maybe it's preloading the system?
You...
I have not over twenty track days. In fact, I am still on the same rear pads after twenty events which is outstanding to me. I do run a square friction setup, which is a little different than others I believe.
What I do experience is pad drag on left turns on the right front. It's by wear. If I...
I bought a set of the TSW Imatras on the same blowout pricing. Can't beat four 18x10.5 wheels for under $700 shipped. They will serve as my second set of track wheels to beat up.
TSW's are made in China, but so are Titan 7's, so whatever.
I didn't post about this deal or purchasing them...
Last three cars I bought new, I had flashed their ECU's in the dealer parking lot right after signing the papers, and drove home like I was on a race track.
Cars are meant to be driven. These also aren't our fathers cars.
Why on earth would you switch to A. smaller diameter studs and B. crappy suspect studs just to fit some particular nuts? Get something that fits correctly.
100% agree. The Supra continues to impress me. My 2020, with 100% stock power and just suspension mods with 200tw tires hangs with the big boys on track.
I was going to get a Cayman GT4 before the Supra. So glad I now went with the Supra. Like you said, I'm about 20k in mods, so basically a...
They aren't. I did all last season with OEM lug bolts. Twenty track days. Had my wheels on/off the car countless times. Four sets of tires, yada yada. If you use a wheel hanger it's not any harder than cars with studs. People very much exaggerate when they say it's a "Pain in the ass"...
