Of course! Not a problem.
So, Yes: Run the lap belt through the left-side lap belt opening then run a buckle extender through the right. Works great and keeps you planted as normal. Better, actually.
I run a slider because
1. I'm short
2. I let others drive my car.
Exactly. The car felt torqueless and was only fun after 7500RPM. I also wasn't a fan of the stock exhaust. Sounded very tinny to me until same RPM. I was on GYSC3R tires, so grip was good... But just driving the car, in general, seem like a lot of work. The supra seems a lot easier to manage in...
The OMP seat is SUPER comfortable. I got it in case I ever have to drive to the track, otherwise even a Sparco Sprint would work. Twice the price, I think, but I love this seat. The material and even the reflective piping looks pretty sweet ?
I'm using OMP brackets because the set that came...
After one of my track days, the left side of my body was so sore I could hardly walk lol I realized it was from all the pressure on my dead pedal. So, I ordered this right away.
Every track car I've had included racing seat in it for safety reasons. I did this one solely so I would stop sliding...
Funny. I went the opposite direction. ? The Supra is so much more fun to drive vs the 350R. The Mustang felt like more work to drive with little reward.
I've always gone back and forth between domestics and imports, always seem to come back to imports for that reason.
Agreed. It's on my list...
I think ICE performance vehicle values will absolutely skyrocket as EVs become a thing. EVs everywhere, then you get to drive something like a Supra? People have proven they will pay ridiculous amounts for novelty.
Every car guy should have a lift. Makes things 1,000,000 times easier.
Meh. I won't be going anywhere until next year. I think it would be pretty sweet if you and I owned the B2 class :D. I'm still waiting for us all to get bumped one seeing how I can't imagine the other BMW guys being very happy with us. I can't do B2 unless I can get enough to max out points. I'm...
The negatives you list make it not great IMO. Fast, if you have the $$$ to keep it that way? Yes. But not a great car, hence it's demise.
JB4 for track days? That's a bold move, Cotton.
Sold. That is EXCELLENT news. I'd get one now, but I believe that would bump me up a class. Starting Jan of '24, though....
Thanks for the info. This is awesome.
I wish I still had the car because I think it was neat.. but that's it. I didn't like the seating position, the location of the shifter to the seat/wheel; it just wasn't comfortable for me. I didn't feel comfortable pushing it, either. I did like the fact that it had ALL the race car parts I...
This was our conversation. I'm embarrassed to admit I have not yet learned about the different B58's or why it wouldn't fit.
I'm guessing 2-port is gen 1 and 6-port is gen 2 but I'm not caught up on the nomenclature.
I loved, loved, LOVED my V8V.
Once the Supra is gone, I plan to get another or a 911. Depends on how much of a track rat I still am. Can't go wrong with either, though I'm looking at Cinnabar Orange for the Aston (I'd be going the 2019-21 route).
