I drove 3.5hrs to get mine, but I was in town for a track day anyway. The drive home is always fun and seems to by quickly, since everything is so new and exciting.
" tomayto, tomahto". I also don't say "nitro yellow", "wicked white", "mercury silver".
You guys are in SO much trouble. Just you wait... ?
Even if I could manage all the tan... which maybe I could if the car were white or red.. but anyway, Having any color on the part of the steering...
Not that I know of, but I could be mistaken. From what I've seen it's a standard inlet. The pictures I've found and the reading I've done shows that, anyway. I'd be impressed if OEM had a anti-surge cover.
I've talked to a few owners that weren't into the brown. They led me to believe it hasn't been well received and people are more than willing to let it go. Maybe not. ??
I wish I could change mine to red but keep my during wheel.
Your picture reminds me: I took a train from Germany to France. A large part of it ran along Rhine River, I think it was. It was the most scenic commute I've ever had. Water side towns, castles.. it was AWESOME.
I spent $450ish for a JB4 that I'm not using.
I spent $12 on wind deflectors to solve the wind buffeting issue.
I spent $0.10 on vinyl to make track day numbers
I spent $10 on a claybar because the dealership couldn't bother themselves to clean the car before I picked it up LOL
so far I'm up...
I slightly overpaid for my Supra, but got the EXACT one I want (hard to find), so am okay with it because I WILL get that extra $$ out of it in use and enjoyment LOL. I do feel for those that paid $10k or more over. Ouch. I'm more glad to see prices returning to normal (all it took was a enough...
I thought the days of trying to bone someone in the butthole while selling a car had finally come to an end.
I guess some people haven't been paying attention to prices, lately. ?
I'm just here to support another Supra being taken to the track. Can't wait to see THOSE pictures! Also, it's nice to see someone not afraid to get pain chips/wear on fancy parts. I had CF wheels on my Mustang and the forum guys were loosing their shit because I refused to track the car with...
The price is getting down to the point where even I'm considering. I wouldn't mind just having a basic tune on the spare ECU so that my OEM would be still good for smog.
Kinda sounds like a slide whistle at low RPM. Otherwise, the ricer side of me is digging it lol
If it worked as an anti-surge, that would be cool. If you could hear it at high RPM, that would also be cool.
Hearing it right off idle is throwing me off .. Not used to that.
PD here in CA would...
It's hugely helpful. When I bought my car, I had to start researching it. I can't always take what I've learned from one platform and apply to another. Like you, I start out with an idea in my head, discuss it with others, realize it might not be the best. That leads me on a path where I can...
