OEM wheels are forged, yes? So should be relatively lightweight.
Also, I love when people ask opinions on specific parts, but then instead get recommendations for everything else. ??
We can't help but to interject our own opinions. Car guys. ? Lol
I bought mine to take to the track, so I pretty much have to modify the suspension, wheels, tires, and add aero. But, I do live in California so will not be touching the engine. I am also keeping full interior on this car. I am pretty much opposite of 90% of the other owners on this forum ?
Either wheel will get you down the street. If price is of no concern, then getting the better of the two is a no brainer.
For track days, I will run something cheap like a Rota oe Enkei. But, for something I'm going to daily on, that people will see, I want something at least as nice as OEM...
The BBS wheel is obviously the better choice. It is a well put together wheel from a known company in the motorsport community. Compare that to something from Taiwan.
If you are asking "Des the Taiwan wheel look close enough to the BBS to go ahead and buy that and save a bunch of money?" That's...
Fair enough, but you didn't list any of that criteria in your original post. I think we are all going off the assumption you are asking us which wheel is better.
You need more than Taiwan versus Germany?
Jesus Christ. Sorry to hear, dude That is absolutely nuts. Good luck. Bright side: At least enough people hit you that there should be plenty of insurance to cover everything.....? F**k
The S2k and Integra Type R have my two favorite transmissions. Best ever. The ITR has actual linkage connecting the shifter to the trans. No cables = extremely responsive and feels perfect.
I'm not sure how the S2k does it, I've never owned one so haven't been able to dive into it.
Sounds like the clutch may have a restrictor in the line to keep people from dumping it. I assume it's hydraulic.
I've removed one from a car and it really helped. Maybe that's an option with the Supra.
